The UNEP-GEF regional project Building Capacity for Regionally Harmonized National Processes for Implementing Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Provisions on Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit Sharing will be implemented for 24 months. Countries participating in the project are the ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste, with the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), ASEAN Secretariat, and the United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS) as executing partners.
The project needs the services of an ABS International Consultant to assist in accomplishing the project deliverables. ACB gives preference to qualified candidates from nationals of ASEAN Member States (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam).
