Public consultation launched for REDD+ SES V. 2

REDD+ Social & Environmental Standards has launched its public consultation for REDD+ SES Version 2. Comments are invited from February 9^th to April 9^th, 2012.

 

The REDD+ Social & Environmental Standards initiative aims to build support for government-led REDD+ programs that make a significant contribution to human rights, poverty alleviation and biodiversity conservation. Countries currently participating in the REDD+ SES initiative are Brazil (State of Acre), Ecuador, Indonesia (Central Kalimantan), Nepal and Tanzania.
