Introduction to Community Forestry in the Context of Climate Change

At the end of the course, participants are able to:

Recognize basic values and identify key principles for effective community forestry development and practices;
Assess the current status of community forestry based on the basic principles of community forestry; and
Determine key actions to apply community forestry approach in addressing climate change.

Who should participate? Representatives from government, NGOs, industry and academia who are:

Citizens or residents of the ASEAN region;
Working in the forestry or natural resource management or community forestry or climate change policies in the ASEAN region;
Fluent in English
