Capacity-building Workshop on Access and Benefit-sharing

Various actors involved in capacity-building initiatives/projects will be invited to share information and discuss their experiences in relation to activities carried out and tools developed in support of the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol.
The discussion will begin with short presentations by the panel members and will focus on the following points:
- The objective(s), scope of the capacity-building and development initiatives/projects
- The types of capacity-building and development activities covered under the initiatives/projects and how these activities are designed, delivered and followed-up
- How these initiatives/projects support the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol
- Lessons learned and future perspectives/way forward
